Client came to use to spruce up the curb appeal of her 40-50 year old bungalow on a budget. The exterior finishes of the original house consisted of black asphalt shingles; grey brick; original white windows; blue shutters and panels; white stone stucco and white siding.
The project consisted of replacing the front windows and doors with modern black frame units. The front door and side panel was replaced for a fiberglass wood grained door. We matched the colour and appearance of the garage door to the front door using a prefinished wood grain steel overhead door. The existing siding, stucco and shutters were replaced with new Hardie Board siding. To tie in the new colour scheme we replaced the white soffit and facia with black around the entire house which also permitted the addition of soffit pot lighting. Final touch were the accents; new modern coach lights; civic numbers; mailbox; lawn light; and entry door hardware.
